                                 Tukaram
(1608-1650)  was a 17th century Marathi saint ,poet saint & increased Bhakti marg Movement
.

Tukaram is known  for his Abhang  Devotional Poetry .His poetry is devoted to lord Vitthala or Vithoba .

He used abhang for upliftment of society & used for Social reforms  in Hindu Dharma

                                       All his work is known as Tukaram Gatha .

                                    He is also naturist in that sense his famous Abhang

                                                वृक्ष वल्ली आह्मां सोयरीं वनचरें ।

                          पक्षी ही सुस्वरें आळविती ॥१॥     

                                        is very well known in Marathi speaking people.

                                     In the Life span of 41 year he almost 5000 Abhanga .
